Don Edward Black, AuthorDon Edward Black spent his formative years on a 106-acre farm South of Oxford, Mississippi and migrated to Washington, D.C. after high school. In 1961, he began a career with Montgomery County Police, Rockville, MD and retired as a Captain in 1986. In the mid-90s, he began acting and appeared on stage locally with Prince George’s Little Theatre and Bowie Community Theatre. Additionally, he appeared on stage at Opryland Productions, Nashville, TN, Kentucky Repertory Theatre, Horse Cave, KY, Lees McRae College, Banner Elk, NC, and Olney Theatre, Olney, MD. He has a BS degree in Political Science from University of Maryland University College.
